Ankush Jain was frustrated with his preparation for the Government exam and saw a post of an app called shit Indian say meme generator. Downloaded the app and started creating memes for the first time.

His memes were so good in the app that it started featuring on pages like SIS, Sarcastic Indian, and Terrible dank tales. Ankush felt happy that his memes were featured in pages with more than a million following

March 2019 Memechat was incorporated that Shit Indian says the app was changed to Memechat. Now users were paid to create Memes on brand and Ankush becomes the moderator of the app deciding which memes are funny and should be rewarded

By August 2020 Ankush joined Memechat as a Community Manager and had seen tremendous growth of the app and love and affection for the same being a user, moderator, and a full-time employee

This affection was reflected when the first salary was trending and people started tweeting about MemeChat

Ankush replied to that tweet and helped the Memechat user because he had experienced the same things when he was a user and had an overwhelming empathy

After joining Memechat most of the full-time employees in MemeChat had the same journey and were very much passionate about the app

I met Ankush for the first time in January

Memechat recently raised 150K USD funding and the reason for the same is having empathy for the user
